Located in Steamboat Springs, CO, we serve all areas of Nortwest Colorado, Northeast Utah, and Southern Wyoming. NWCCWI provides all services required to ensure your project is in compliance with American Welding Society (AWS) standards. While some inspectors feel that they aren't doing their job unless they find flaws in every weld, our approach is to thoroughly understand the jobs requirements, from the applicable codes and standards to engineer specifications, and judge each weld by those standards. By doing so, our inspectors are an asset to your welders, engineers, project managers, and owners.
Dan has been involved in the structural steel industry since 2005. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he has been involved in the design, fabrication, and inspection of hundreds of structures. He is an AWS Certified Welding Inspector (#15021791) and a Comtrain Competent Climber, with extensive experience working at height on telecom towers. Dan has also qualified in various weld proceedures and enjoys taking a hands on approach to his work.
